As we continue to build on this reputation, we will continue to focus on improving student achievement, particularly in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. In addition, we will continue to strengthen our students' abilities to use media and technology effectively as learning tools. We appreciate your support of these efforts by making sure students maintain good school attendance and punctuality and by expecting them to do quality work at school. When we work together to help students meet high expectations, they benefit greatly. Thank you for taking time to read the policies, procedures, and information contained in the PTA Handbook. Please be sure to take advantage of Curriculum Night, PTA meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school activities to stay connected to your child's school experiences. Parent involvement has been demonstrated through research to be one of the most significant factors in a child's success with learning.
